If you get the opportunity to collaborate with other creative women, you do it. When Jacqueline and Jake Fabricius approached me to be apart of The Blogger Collaborative‘s bohemian-inspired shoot, I jumped at the chance.
The Blogger Collaborative was founded by Jake and Jacqueline (who are seriously marriage-goals with the most adorable children), to bring together brands, vendors, and bloggers for editorial shoots. The inspiration behind this look was boho-glam; we shot at Manhattan Beach and it was an incredible day!
The morning started around 10am in hair and makeup – and I cannot recommend Nicol Artisty enough! Owners Lindsey and Kim are angels and made the entire experience that much more fun! Jake was our photographer and ladies, if you ever get to work with him you won’t regret it. He was so professional, easy to work with, and well the photos speak for themselves!
It’s so refreshing to be surrounded by creative women who understand the work that goes into creating content. Ashley and Sharrah are incredible and so ahead of the blogging game, it was an honor to work with them. Jacqueline is truly amazing and deserves the recognition for putting together the shoot and working with our vendors.
I’ve been working hard at JossBecause.com for a solid 8 months now, and I’m so proud of what I’ve accomplished. The fact that I’m even receiving collab opportunities speaks volumes for what consistent content and social media reach can do. Not only was I able to make friendships, but it was a brilliant networking opportunity and learning experience. Also, let’s be honest – these photos look like we’re in a Free People ad *swoon*.
Continue to do things that scare you, be kind, and work hard xx
