What is everyone doing this weekend? After almost 2 months of being in LA, I’m going back to Toronto!
This time of year (or I like to call TIFF Time) is always surreal and once mid-August hits, before you know, it’s October. It will be my fourth year working the Toronto International Film Festival and I absolutely love it. Toronto becomes the hot spot of the world and seriously, the weeks just fly by.
I’m currently packing my suitcase and will be catching the 11:45pm flight back home and I cannot be more excited. I’ll be able to see my family and friends again and this is the first time JossBecause is hitting the 6ix! You can keep up to date with my travels and TIFF experience on Snapchat, Instagram and I’ll definitely still be updating the blog daily.
I also want to thank everyone who’s been taking the time to read my posts and support JossBecause. This week has felt unreal with the new layout and on top of that I’ve lined up so many opportunities for the blog. I have a really good feeling for what’s to come.
In the mean time, here are a few of my favorite things to get you started for the weekend!
I discovered Joel Pringle’s work on Instagram and instantly fell in love. He’s an artist based in Melbourne who designs websites and logos. His minimalist style is perfection.
Kate Somerville D-Scar
I recently started using this product and it’s my favorite skin care product right now. For those of you who have sever acne scarring like myself, it really does make a difference. Forget about that Vitamin E Oil! I will be posting a whole article in the future about my love for Kate.
JossBecause would not exist without the help of ChloeDigital. It’s a team of strategic planners, designers, and web experts that provide help with honestly everything you need with building a blog. If you’re in the process of launching your blog, or need to revamp your current one, check them out!
The Shop On Melrose
Let’s call them the Coachella Fashion Headquarters. If you’re ever in West Hollywood, stop by and try to not walk out with something. Did I mention they’re completely affordable?
The Looney Tunes Show
I will stand by this show until the end of time. I liked Space Jam and all but never cared much for The Looney Tunes, until now. THIS is a newer show; it follows a sit-com format and it’s hilarious. The humor is more adult (but not like Family Guy) and I cannot stop binge-watching. Canadians, it’s on Netflix!
Robert Carlye’s New Haircut
I know he cut his hair because he was filming Trainspotting 2. All I’m saying is if Robert keeps this hair for Once Upon A Time, Rumple will be my new favorite character.
